About the Cyber Readiness Institute

The Cyber Readiness Institute (CRI) will convene senior leaders of global companies from across sectors to develop best practices for managing the people, processes, and technology needed for effective cybersecurity.

This collective knowledge will inform the Cyber Readiness Institute’s development of cyber risk management content and tools designed to help secure global value chains.

The Cyber Readiness Institute will emphasize the practical application of these tools for small and medium-sized businesses.  The Institute will also facilitate the workforce development needed for implementing these cyber risk management tools.

The Institute’s Co-Chairs include: Samuel J. Palmisano, Founder of CGE and former CEO and Chairman of IBM; Ajay Banga, President and CEO, Mastercard; Satya Nadella, Chief Executive Officer, Microsoft; and Penny Pritzker, Former U.S. Secretary of Commerce and Current Chairman, PSP Capital Partners. Kiersten Todt is the Managing Director of the Institute. Craig Moss is a Director and will lead Content and Tool Development.

The Cyber Readiness Institute, a non-profit, is a joint initiative between the Center for Global Enterprise (CGE) and the Center for Responsible Enterprise And Trade (CREATe.org).
