This year marks the fifteenth anniversary of the National Cybersecurity Awareness Month (NCSAM). NCSAM is a collaborative effort between the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and its public and private partners. This year’s theme - announced earlier this week by the DHS – focuses on the idea that ‘Cybersecurity is our shared responsibility and we all must work together to improve our nation’s cybersecurity.’

To support this year’s theme, DHS has issued four key messages that reinforce the overarching message. These include: 1) strengthen the nation’s cybersecurity ecosystem; 2) tackle it together; 3) build up the cybersecurity workforce; and 4) secure critical infrastructure from cyber threats. Read the Department of Homeland Security’s overview here.

The Cyber Readiness Institute’s content and tools aimed at small-and-medium sized businesses support and reflect these four key messages. The Institute is currently in the final stages of the pilot program and planning the global launch later this year.
